I Love My Home

I love my home. It is the place where my husband and I have raised our family. We have seen our kids grow up here; watching their individual personalities emerge and their interests develop. I have put my personal touches on my home from the very beginning, decorating and organizing and redecorating and reorganizing as life brought changes. But the time has come to list our home for sale (gasp!). There is an excitement in daydreaming about our future home mixed with sadness about leaving this home. Change is always hard, but we are moving forward, anxious to see what God has in store for us.

I often have friends ask me how to do “something” that I have done around my home. I recognized a major life change approaching and thought that blogging about the sale of our home and the purchase of a new house would be filled with a lot of decision making and interesting ideas that will be gathered and hopefully implement in a personal way. It also will cause a lot of reflection of past projects that may be included. In hopes of helping out my friends and keeping myself motivated, I have decided to start a blog. I’m not sure exactly where this journey will take me, but I invite you to join me and my family as we move on to a new time in our lives.
