Remodel Day 12

We are finally out of the kitchen except for a few odds and ends. The project shifted to other areas of the house. I'm most excited about the stairs.

Pat set the newel posts on the newly stained base. It took him a good chunk of the day to do this.

I needed to leave for a basketball game and when I got home I saw this:

Metal stair spindles, black newel posts I’m so glad we decided not to use the old railing pieces. I love this. It is not quite finished, but shouldn’t take too much longer.

Meanwhile, Chad was busy installing light fixtures in the kitchen.

He also installed the window in the laundry room and the door for the new entrance into the garage from the back yard.

Seems like a lot of visual progress was made.
