Some days it seems like it's just a continuation of the day before. Day 9 was one of those days for both Patrick and Chad. Pat continued mudding and mudding and mudding. Chad continued to lay the hardwood floor. He said he was going to dream about laying that floor.
We did have the new appliances delivered. That was exciting. I’ll tell you about my bargain hunting for appliances in a future post.
Jordan helped out by attaching the handles to the refrigerator.
Pat brought out the stilts to continue his mudding job.
Charlie DOES NOT like the sound of the nail gun used to install the floor. He tried to find a safe place to hide from it. At one point during the day, he climbed into the bathtub. The rest of the time, he burrowed into the pillows on our bed. This is how he spent a big chunk of the day.
I worked on painting and staining the stairway pieces. I actually decided to use spray paint on the newel posts. Hopefully, I won’t regret that decision.
A lot of changes are on the agenda for day 10. Stay tuned!
