I am a Christ follower, wife and business partner to Tim, mother of four wonderful children, mother-in-“love” to the two that married my kids, and a home-school mom to one still in high school. I have a background in accounting and can handle most numbers that come my way, (but don’t throw me Calculus.) My real passion is my home and family. I am not scared to try new things especially if I can do it cheaply. I figure the worst that will happen is I waste a lot of my time, but I will have learned from the experience. I am very much a DIY’er, but daydream about paying to have everything done for me. Even if we could afford to hire it all done I wouldn’t. I know deep down that just won’t work for me, because I can’t sit still. I have to have a project. Sometimes that project is number crunching to help my husband in business, but I get really excited about a project involving decorating, organizing or transforming “trash-to-treasure”. Now that we are in transition between homes, I thought my newest project would also include learning to blog. Follow me on my journey as we move from a home that we all love, to a new house we hope we can love as much. With my family by my side, I'm sure we will.
